Best overall: Premium matte presentation paper (48lb or higher) — crisp color, smooth finish, folds cleanly without cracking.

Clean and writeable: Matte photo paper — easy to sign or add a personal note on the inside.

Budget friendly: Cardstock (65lb or higher) — widely available, prints well at home, folds and holds its shape well.

Print shop option: Ask for a double-sided print on matte cardstock or presentation paper at 10x7 inches flat — most print shops can handle this easily. Just let them know it will be folded to 5x7.

Avoid standard copy paper — it won't hold the fold cleanly and the color won't do the design justice.
